Key takeaways:
- Phuket massage prices run from ฿1,500 (entry soapy in Phuket Town) up to ฿6,600 (Christin Massage in Patong, the island’s premium ceiling), verified June 2026.
- Phuket has a thin adult-massage scene: a small soapy cluster in Phuket Town’s Phoonpon Night Plaza plus a couple of venues in Patong. Plan accordingly.
- Most soapy venues here cluster tightly at ฿1,500-2,500, so price is rarely the deciding factor.
- For nuru, Nuru Spa in Rawai publishes its prices (nuru gel ฿1,900-2,500, body-to-body from ฿1,500); Nuru Massage Patong’s price is not published and is withheld.
How much does a massage cost in Phuket? For the adult categories we track, soapy runs ฿1,500-2,500 at most venues, nuru-gel massage is ฿1,900-2,500 at Nuru Spa in Rawai, and the island’s premium ceiling is ฿6,600 at Christin Massage in Patong. Every figure below comes from real venue data in our Phuket directory, verified June 2026; Nuru Spa’s were re-checked against its own site in September 2026.
A straight answer first: Phuket has the smallest adult-massage scene of Thailand’s four main destinations. There is a compact soapy cluster in Phuket Town (the Phoonpon Night Plaza area) and a small Patong presence. If massage is your main reason to travel, Bangkok or Chiang Mai will serve you far better. In Phuket, treat it as a bonus alongside the beaches.

The Phuket Town cluster is unusual: four venues all priced ฿1,500-2,500 with ratings between 3.3 and 3.4. At those numbers, price won’t decide it for you, so pick on convenience and on-the-day lineup. Christin in Patong is the clear step up, with a ฿3,300 floor, a ฿6,600 ceiling, and by far the most reviews on the island.
Nuru and body-to-body prices in Phuket
Two nuru venues in Phuket have premises you can go to, and only one of them publishes a price.
| Venue | Area | Starting price | Top package | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nuru Spa | Soi Saiyuan, Rawai | ฿1,500 | ฿4,500 | The only Phuket nuru price list we could read from the operator |
| Nuru Massage Patong | Nanai Road and Soi Sansabai, Patong | Withheld | Withheld | The walk-in nuru shop in Patong |

Nuru Spa’s own menu runs from ฿1,500 for 40 minutes of erotic body-to-body, through ฿1,900 (40 min) and ฿2,500 (60 min) for nuru-gel massage, to ฿4,500 for its 70-minute “Double VIP Jacuzzi + Soapy or Nuru”. Nuru Massage Patong does not publish a price list we could read, and the figures in circulation disagree: one third-party directory lists ฿1,500 for 45 minutes and ฿2,000 for 70 minutes, which we have not verified. Agree the full price before the session starts. Mon Viman and Runjuan are outcall services and publish no nuru price. For real choice, Bangkok is the destination.
What affects the price in Phuket
- Island premium. Phuket’s rents, transport and tourist-driven economy push prices up. The same quality often costs 20-40% more here than on the mainland.
- Location. Patong (Christin) prices higher than the Phuket Town cluster, reflecting its nightlife footfall.
- Room tier. As elsewhere, the gap between floor and ceiling is mostly a VIP room and longer session, clearest at Christin (฿3,300 to ฿6,600).
- Thin supply. With few venues, there is little price competition, which is why the Phuket Town soapy shops sit in a narrow band rather than undercutting each other.
Prices are fixed at legitimate venues. Don’t haggle.
What’s included, and tipping
A standard price covers the room, the session, and a shower, with soap or gel provided. Tips are separate, in cash, handed to the staff directly.
| Category | Standard tip | Generous tip |
|---|---|---|
| Soapy | ฿500-1,000 | ฿1,000-1,500 |
| Nuru | ฿500-1,000 | ฿1,000-1,500 |
Carry baht in cash; smaller Phuket venues may not take cards. See our tipping guide.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a massage cost in Phuket?
Soapy runs ฿1,500-2,500 at most venues, nuru-gel massage is ฿1,900-2,500 at Nuru Spa in Rawai, and the premium ceiling is ฿6,600 at Christin Massage in Patong. Soapy prices verified June 2026, Nuru Spa’s September 2026. Nuru Massage Patong’s price is not published.
Why is Phuket more expensive than the mainland?
Island economics. Higher rents, higher transport costs and a tourist-dependent economy raise prices across the board, massage included, by roughly 20-40% versus Bangkok or Chiang Mai.
Does Phuket have nuru massage?
A little. Two nuru venues have premises: Nuru Spa, a villa in Rawai (nuru gel ฿1,900 for 40 minutes, ฿2,500 for an hour), and Nuru Massage Patong on Nanai Road and Soi Sansabai, whose price is not published. Mon Viman and Runjuan are outcall services. If nuru is your priority, Bangkok has a far deeper market.
Where are most soapy parlors in Phuket?
In Phuket Town, around the Phoonpon Night Plaza, where four venues cluster at ฿1,500-2,500. The premium option, Christin Massage, is in Patong.
Is it worth coming to Phuket just for massage?
No. Phuket has the thinnest adult-massage scene of Thailand’s main cities. Come for the beaches and treat massage as a bonus; for selection, choose Bangkok or Chiang Mai.
